#Race-Hack-a-Thon Venture Competition Deadline Extended to Tuesday

As an extra bonus, the deadline has been extended to Tuesday at 11:59pm register for the first ever #HackRaceaThon — a venture competition that challenges entrepreneurs to develop mobile phone apps and social media campaigns that both generate a profit and help hack (i.e. end) racism.

There is no cost to participate in the competition and registration comes with free ETE17 tickets for each team.  Successful teams can win office space at IN3DC, one of the area’s hottest incubators and other prizes.  For more details and to register, click on the box below.

ETE17 is:

  • An event to inspire students about STEM.
  • A chance for parents to learn about how to equip their children for Cybersecurity and other STEM careers.
  • An opportunity for educators to meet government and private funders.
  • A venue for entrepreneurs to showcase their businesses to potential customers in the public and private sectors.

Also, the day after ETE17, dont miss out on the forum hosted by one of our Honorary Congressional Hosts, Rep. Hank Johnson (GA) who is convening leaders throughout the film industry to discuss ways for improving our images.  This forum is set to also take place at the Washington Convention Center at 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM.
