FY 2016 Budget’s Investment in STEM and Innovation Diversity

Washington, D.C. –- With the commencement of Engineering Week 2015, STEM4US!, a non-profit organization which provides STEM related advocacy and education on Capital Hill as well as educational and career resources for educators, students and families in science, technology, engineering and math (STEM), hosted a Power Lunch™ discussion event, Monday, February 23, 2015.

The event, titled “Investing in STEM and Innovation Diversity,” included a panel discussion from high-level congressional representatives, where roughly 50 guests participated. Various companies and cause-related organizations attended. Panelists discussed application opportunities for President Obama’s $3B STEM budget plan, a political agenda where STEM4US! plans to support the creation of more than 1M jobs by 2022.
